An updated rendition of the Streamlight TLR7 X Sub 1913s this latest generation of the Streamlight sub-compact pistol light is now compatible with Streamlight's new SL-B9 battery, that offers 725 lumens with a stronger candela output of 7,700 and a beam range of 176 meters when using the SL-B9 battery, or 550 lumens with a stronger candela output of 5,000 and a beam range of 141 meters with a standard CR123A battery. It's a fantastic addition to your sub-compact pistol, aiding in illuminating areas for easier positive identification in low-light situations. The TLR7 X Sub maintains a low silhouette profile for your pistol, minimizing the chances of snagging when drawing your weapon, while still providing a useful light source despite its compact size of 68mm.
This latest iteration of the TLR7 X Sub is features multi-fueled battery system that accepts either standard or rechargeable CR123A batteries, such as the Streamlight SL-B9 USB rechargeable battery, which can run for 1.5 hours with CR123A batteries or 1 hour with the SL-B9. To turn off the light for long-term storage with the battery installed, simply twist the light reflector until you hear a click, preventing any accidental discharge. The light reflector is made from high temperature, shock-mounted, impact-resistant, scratch-resistant BOROFLOAT glass, boasting a lifetime of 50,000 hours, making this a durable weapon light for intense, long-term use.
Like its siblings, the TLR7X Sub features ambidextrous paddle switches that activate the light. You can hold press to turn enable the momentary on or press and click to keep it on continuously, with the option to program the light for strobe function. The paddle switches can be swapped for higher or lower options to accommodate the shooter?s preferred length of travel when activating the switch. The light can be mounted with one hand; simply snap it on and tighten the mount to ensure there's no wobble, allowing you to keep your hand away from the muzzle while attaching and detaching the light. You can also replace the battery without uninstalling the light by unscrewing the light head to access the battery compartment, replacing it with a fresh battery, and then re-screwing the light head to make it ready for use again. With its design, the TLR7X Sub is also IPX7 rated, capable of withstanding wet environments, with a water depth of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
