VFC has done it again they have made another fantastic AEG, here we have the VFC Colt MK12 MOD 1 (Crane Stock). 1:1 Scale like the real steel variant you'll be impressed just by holding this monster in your hands. As usual, VFC always produces their airsoft guns with excellent craftsmanship and this one has all the correct Colt markings since its licensed, perfect for those who are collecting guns.
Let's not forget about the gorgeous metal receiver with a 310mm RIS Rail System Handguard with three 155mm Rail Covers, for those who want to kit it out to the max with sights, grips, and lasers. The outer barrel is 370mm with a 135mm metal flash hider which is fitted with a dummy gas block and gas tube. Looking at the pistol grip is a polymer Non-Slip Textured type, which is comfortable to hold yet gives you the grip you need to grab this beast. Towards the back, you'll find a polymer 275mm Fixed Stock that will do the job for most operators, also let's not forget about those awesome detachable Flip-up Front and Flip-up Rear Sights great for back up too if your using sights. It also features a metal housing 300-round magazine with plenty of rounds to rain hell down upon enemies in the field.
It clocks in around 350 FPS which is pretty reasonable for an AEG and fires extremely well in semi-auto as well as full-auto. A sling mount can be installed with any single, 2- or 3- point tactical sling to help you lug it around comfortably, keep in mind it runs on small Tamiya-type batteries which are accessed from the buttstock towards the rear of the gun.
Keep in mind if you do decide to use an 11.1v battery it may wear out the internals faster!
