The Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa series is an extremely capable and accurate pistol that makes it one of the most popular in Airsoft. It is hands-down the most reliable gas blowback pistol of all time - and there is a good reason for that! It's no wonder that so many custom guns are based on the Hi-Capa platform, and most competition shooters will not shoot anything else. Metal parts included: recoil spring guide rod, nickel-plated hammer, adjustable rear sight, front sight, magazine catch, magazine, and frame with an ABS grip. The barrel is also handsomely nickel-plated. It is good for 300fps when using Green Gas, but many upgrades are available for this pistol that allow you to reach higher power with some modifications! The gun is well-balanced and hefty thanks to the metal frame. Extremely smooth slide cycling action with strong recoil and a pleasant assortment of clicks and clacks when the slide is pulled back make this gun fun to shoot.
This latest version of the legendary Hi-Capa 4.3 features a more dramatic facelift compared to the 5.1 version of the D.O.R. with its sleek ribbed front and rear serrations to help with slide manipulation. But what seems to be the best feature of this gun is the D.O.R. system, a much more refined gas blowback system compared to the rudimentary design of the original Hi Capa series, and is directly inherited from the 5.1 version of the D.O.R.; the Direct Optics Ready system allows you to mount the Tokyo Marui micro pro sight red dot on a mount that comes with the gun. To accommodate the new optic mount system, Tokyo Marui has completely redesigned the internals to work incredibly efficiently with or without optics mounted, with the blowback unit assembly, hop-up chamber assembly, recoil rod assembly, and fire control group assembly being upgraded from the original. Unfortunately, this means that parts compatibility with the original Hi Capa system is severely limited, if at all, nonexistent. However, the upgraded D.O.R. system is built to be extremely durable and can properly handle green gas without any issues.
*Do note that due to its newer design for better performance, most standard Hi Capa parts are not compatible with the D.O.R. such as the slide, mid-frame, outer barrel, blowback unit, and loading nozzle.*
