Description

The Tanaka SIG P220 HW Japan Ground Self Defense Force Gas Airsoft Pistol is a faithful replica of the current service pistol of the JGSDF. This version of the P220 is also know as the Minebea P9, as the real steel gun is made under license by MinebeaMitsumi, Inc. The real P220 can hold 8 rounds of 9mm as it has a single stack magazine design and has a heel magazine release, the Tanaka replica has all these features plus having the JGSDF markings, making it very realistic.

The controls of the P220 is similar of the P226, with the decocker and slide release at around the same position, making this quite easy to use for those who are already familiar with the P226 platform. Although the Tanaka P220 is made of Polymer, this is a Heavyweight model, and the weight is quite hefty, adding points to the already realistic gun. If you are looking to complete your JGSDF loadout, this is the sidearm you need!
