The S&W M29 Counterbore 8" Inch Revolver is a beast of a firearm that is manufactured by Smith & Wesson, a renowned American firearms company. It is a variant of the iconic Smith & Wesson Model 29, which gained widespread fame as the "Dirty Harry" Revolver. This M29 features a longer barrel of 8" inches compared to the standard 6.5"-inch barrel of the original Model 29. The extended barrel provides increased accuracy and velocity, making it a suitable gun for longer ranges and target practice.
Chambered in the .44 Magnum cartridge, the M29 Counterbore delivers substantial stopping power and is capable of firing both .44 Magnum and .44 Special in the real-steel world. It has the standard six-round cylinder capacity, which can be loaded through a swing-out cylinder mechanism. The revolver's construction is characterized by a solid steel N-sized frame and barrel. It typically incorporates a double-action trigger, allowing for both single-action firing modes, giving shooters flexibility in their shooting style.
