The original S&W M500 was developed to be a pistol to hunt large game, or even a survival pistol against large predators such as bears, using the most powerful pistol round - The .500 S&W Magnum. This revolver is know to be the "wrist breaker", S&W's in-house tuning firm PC made this behemoth of a pistol even bigger. With a large compensator, long barrel, and overall heftiness, it almost makes shooting this bearable.
The Tanaka S&W M500 PC is a faithful replica of this legendary revolver, although it will not produce any recoil at all, it sure does deliver in its weight and detailing. With a picatinny rail on top for all your optic needs as well as a long inner barrel, you may be able to use this revolver as a pistol sniper of some sort. The hop-up is also adjustable by using an allen key at the breech after swinging out the huge cylinder.
Tanaka revolvers have been famously known to be incredibly smooth, having some of the best triggers, hammers, and cylinders you will find on any airsoft revolver. All of this is translated nicely to this pistol, though it lacks the need for shells its dummy shells which are fixed to the cylinder, it is able to house 11-12 rounds.
Internally, the pistol features a fixed hop-up and shoots at a stable 300 FPS.
