The real steel SV-98 is a Russian made sniper rifle designed by Valdimir Stronskiy in 1998 and was first seen used by Russian special forces in 2003 during the Chechen Wars. This sniper rifle is now being adopted by the various branches of the Russian military and law enforcements alike. The notable users are the FSB, FSO and the National Guard of Russia.
The Snow Wolf SV-98 Bolt Action Sniper is a faithful replication of this modern Russian sniper rifle. Prefect for those who are looking to play as a Russian sniper but do not wish to use the stereotypical Mosin Nagant or the SVD rifles. Unlike the previous rifles which uses proprietary side scope mounts and the PSO-1 or PU styled scopes, the SV-98 has a picatinny rails for any type of modern scopes.
The gun also features an adjustable cheek piece and butt plate for comfort, a rear mono pod for stability and a carry handle for ease of transport. What's more is that this gun also comes with an adjustable 3-9x scope, scope rings, 2 point sling and a Harris styled bipod!
For those who are seasoned airsoft snipers and are worried about parts compatibility, do not worry, the gun is mostly compatible with Tokyo Marui L96 parts, so you can tweak the internals to your hearts contend.
Please do note that the gun comes disassembled, but assembly is relatively easy and the instruction are very useful as well.
