The Tokyo Marui VSR-10 platform is considered the premier cornerstone of the bolt-action Airsoft sniper rifle series and has held the title of BEST sniper for years, and possibly for the foreseeable future, as Airsoft aftermarket parts manufacturers and part makers still hold this legendary Airsoft sniper rifle and system in the highest regard. It is for that very reason that we picked it for our RWC build.
The VSR-10's best features are its butter-smooth bolt action, exceptionally large cylinder, and overall tight fitment. All of these are contributing factors to the platform's success as a precision shooting machine that does not break the bank compared to other, more expensive options on the market. The large cylinder can hold a larger volume of air, allowing for a more consistent delivery of larger puffs of air that deliver the BB downrange with minimal variables. This is particularly important when using the VSR-10 with heavier BBs and upgrading it with a heavier spring, which in this case is pre-upgraded by us with a 120% piston spring for a higher FPS output. To couple with the stronger spring, the fire control unit has also been pre-upgraded by us to steel parts to handle the higher stress tension, and for overall added parts durability. The smoothness of the action means you will cause less movement when scoped in, and the tighter tolerances mean there will be less wasted air when the trigger is pulled. This Pro Sniper version already comes with a scope mount and includes an AIM-O 1-4x24SE Tactical Illuminated rifle scope, which is all pre-installed. To further increase the rifle's capability, our RWC VSR-10 also comes pre-installed with a PDI Raven 6.01mm inner barrel, which gives the most consistent shot-per-shot FPS output and unrivalled accuracy.
