So, RWA has taken upon themselves the challenge of recreating this beast in the form of an affordable but high-quality Airsoft replica. This Redwolf Custom version of the BDS9 has been expertly cerakoted by our Hillbilly223 certified applicator, resulting in a unique, one-of-a-kind TRS Comp designed in OD Green. Oven cured with Cerakote H-236 OD Green coatings, the thin ceramic layer enhances durability, hardness, and resistance to corrosion and chemicals, while also enabling a quality surface finish, as shown by this BDS9.
The RWA Nighthawk Custom BDS9 features many of the aesthetic qualities of its real-steel counterpart with its heavy tri-cut angle top to the lightening cuts, though some notable difference is to be expected. The RWA BDS9 is equipped with raised suppressor height sights with an optic-ready plate and a front fiber optic insert, allowing end users to install any optic they like as long as they fall under the RMR, RMSc, or K footprint category of red dot optics as well as enabling a quicker line-up of sight picture with its blacked-out rear in contrast to the red fiber optic at the front. At the top of the gun, front and rear slide serrations ensure the user will have a sure purchase when racking the slide and assist with essential weapon manipulations like clearing a jam or when performing a gun takedown for easy maintenance. The RWA BDS9 also comes equipped with an internally threaded outer barrel and thread cap which facilitates the use of tracer units or mock suppressors, which is great for the end-user if they choose to do so, the pistol also comes equipped a nice responsive flat trigger and the trigger pull is very smooth and crisp on the break. What makes the RWA BDS9 weapon platform great is that the internals are made to the tried-and-true Tokyo Marui specifications, meaning that most standard Tokyo Marui Hi Capa parts are compatible as well as most aftermarket Tokyo Marui Hi Capa upgrade parts, ensuring that the gun's performance will remain consistent and accurate over time.
