The M870 is a legendary shotgun that has been favored by law enforcement, the military, and civilian shooters around the world due to the ruggedness and reliability of this multi-purpose shotgun series. The M870 is probably the most produced shotgun as there were over 11 million copies produced since its introduction in the 1950s.
This is an RWC (RedWolf Custom) model that took the Standard APS CAM870 Shotgun MK III police model airsoft marker, gave it an extended magazine tube, and has the Strike Industries VOA handguard made for the Remington 870. This handguard is modified to fit the APS CAM870. With these upgrades, this APS CAM870 now holds 7+1 rounds compared to the stock 4+1 setup and has the ability to mount M-LOK accessories.
The
shotgun is exceptionally well-built and feels solid in hand. There's a
rough and robust feel to the gun as it is made of metal construction and
has quality Strike Industries furniture. Unlike its stock counterpart, this RWC APS CAM870 has an M-LOK compatible handguard allowing for some modularity instead of none at all for the wood stock and traditional polymer stock models.
The shotgun runs off of the same CAM870 MKIII system which means it will use the same shells as that platform and can work with many of the same accessories. Co2 is charged directly into each shell, shells are to be bought separately.
