With the ability to take photos, record high-definition videos, and create time-lapse recordings, this compact cube-shaped action cam is incredibly useful. It is able to set filming parameters with QR codes and change settings like the resolution, saturation, and exposure via the dedicated RunCam App. It is also able to directly transmit files by using a Micro USB to connect to computers or phones, making file transfer easy and direct. While a wire-to-wire file transfer is the go to method, the RunCam app also facilitates direct downloads of your recordings to your phone for easy access to your captured moments.
The camera's video resolution can be set to record at 4K@30fps, with alternative settings available at 2.7K and 1080P, and frames adjustable between 120fps, 60fps, 50fps, and 30fps. Be mindful that video resolution impacts battery life, offering approximately 105 minutes on 4K@30 thanks to the upgraded CPU of the RunCam 5 Orange version.
