The GL5 Pro is Rovyvons high end Pro iteration of their laser / light combo devices among their GL line, featuring a revised housing with this compact, low profile form factor, while out performing its elder sibling in performance and features. The all-rouned device is able to offers four independent output sources; white light, green laser, infrared (IR) laser and IR illumination, able to effectively cater to the requirements of low-light environments for effective positive identification and passive aiming. In comparison to its previous line, the GL5 Pro allows for hot swapping of the battery on the fly, using the common CR123A or a 16340 Li-ion battery, this peripheral device duel fuel feature comes in handy when needing a fresh battery on the fly. The combo device is able to support an output of 400 lumens from its white light, along with a slaved IR and visibile laser output that can be adjusted simultaneously, based on the same adjustment dial as found on the GL4 Pro. Learning from user feedback and experiencing their previous GL4 line, Rovyvon integrates the accessible yet robust ambi paddle switch solution, providing the option of enabling constant on or momentary on by pushing or flicking the paddles. Light output options can be selected by rotating the programming dial located on the left side of the device, with a clear guide indicating the function of each setting. Installation is tool-free, thanks to the clamp design and interchangeable mounting lugs compatible with Picatinny or Glock rail interfaces, with a revised adjustable position lug to move the lug to the most optimal position, making the GL5 Pro suitable for various platforms. Made from 7075 Aluminum with an IPX8 waterproof rating, this device is built to withstand harsh environmental conditions.
