The Olight PL-X GL weapon light combines a multi-mode illumination system with a Class 3R green targeting laser in a compact, duty-grade housing. Built from anodized 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, the unit weighs just 88 grams and measures 63.5 mm by 30.5 mm by 32 mm. A high-compatibility, patented rail clamp features a dual screw rail lug adapter and an anti-loosening ratchet system to hold zero across major weapon platforms. This design also fits existing IWB and OWB holsters built for standard PL-X light dimensions across more than sixteen manufacturers.
The lighting module utilizes an intuitive toggle alongside a full-metal tail switch to operate three distinct output options. The floodlight mode provides wide situational illumination with a maximum output of 1,200 lumens, while the focused spotlight mode delivers 900 lumens with a peak throw of 260 meters (16,900 candela). The green laser operates independently or simultaneously alongside either beam setting. A dedicated strobe function is accessible in both flood and spot modes.
Power is supplied by an integrated 620 mAh lithium-polymer battery that recharges directly via USB-C, delivering up to nine hours of continuous operation in laser-only mode. Engineered to survive heavy-duty use, the housing features an IPX7 waterproof rating, 1.5-meter drop resistance, and live-fire recoil testing through 10,000 rounds.
