The Novritsch SSR-4 Gen 2 is Novritsch's upgrade over the original SSR-4 M4/AR-15 style AEG. This gun comes in 2 different versions, a full metal receiver version and a lightweight polymer receiver version.
The SSR-4 is targeted towards new Airsoft players in mind, as it is essentially a M4/AR-15 style electric Airsoft rifle that anyone can get their hands on. The gun comes pre-upgraded out of the box with the new Gen 2 internals, allowing you to compete with more expensive builds. Exterior-wise, the gun is simple yet modular, as it has Picatinny rails and M-LOK slots for mounting different accessories, and it has QD sling points on the gun for setting up your sling attachments. The gun also features a 14mm CCW thread, giving you the ability to mount muzzle attachments like tracer units and/or suppressors for that tactical look.
Internally, the Gen 2 version of the gun features the 16:1 reinforced CNC high-speed gears and a high-torque motor which allows for rapid-fire and quick follow-up shots that can provide high RPS when using 11.1v batteries. A 6.03 precision barrel and a MAX-style rotary hop-up are also preinstalled to give you greater accuracy. The spring is easily interchangeable as the gun features a Gen 2 reinforced gearbox that has a quick-spring change system, allowing you to swap different spring powers when entering different fields to comply with the FPS limits, an allen key is provided for the procedure. Finally, the heart of the gun is a programable electronic trigger unit (ETU) that allows you to customize the gun's firing mode between burst, binary etc.
