Description
The Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan was introduced in 2005 and is Ruger's entry into the short-barreled, big-bore revolver market. Its design is based on the original Ruger Super Redhawk, which was designed for defence against large, dangerous animals such as bears, cougars, and mountain lions. The Super Redhawk Alaskan is only available in large calibers like the .44 Magnum, .480 Ruger, and the .454 Casull. This particular replica is the .44 Magnum version.
The Marushin Super Redhawk Alaskan .44 Magnum gas revolver is a faithful 1:1 replica, featuring a nice silver finish. This gas Airsoft revolver, although made of Zinc-Infused polymer resin, is a dense, heavy-weight construction and weighs around 1kg or 2 pounds loaded, making this a hefty piece of kit, to say the least. This gas revolver features a smooth double/single-action trigger, something that is expected from a reputable Japanese Airsoft manufacturer. It feels stout in the hands and is really interesting to shoot. The gun is equipped with an adjustable rear sight as well as an adjustable hop-up, which is a feature that is not included in most Airsoft revolvers on the market.
The Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan definitely fits the "Big Iron" description and is a statement when carrying to the field. A great choice for those looking for something interesting to use as a sidearm during skirmishes.
