Marushin has produced the M1887 gas-powered, lever action, shell-ejecting airsoft shotgun for a long time now, this is their re-launch, and it is much better than before. System-wise, the Marushin M1887 has stayed the same since the days when they also came in 8mm BB format, yeah, it has been around for a while, for those who are around when 8mm BBs were a thing, do you feel old yet? What is different with this one, is that it is reinforced, everything is made of metal, something that is quite rare for a Japanese-made airsoft gun, and the stock is made of real wood.
This Marushin M1887 gas shotgun functions the same as it did before, unlock the breech, use the gas can adapter, and fill gas from the bottom (Due to this airsoft shotgun being Japanese-made, it is recommended to use HFC134A / Duster Gas as regular green gas may increase the wear and tear and stress caused on the airsoft gun), load shells into the magazine tube which is located underneath the chamber, and then fire away! Fun Fact, this gas airsoft shotgun has an adjustable hop! To adjust the hop-up, make sure the chamber is empty, insert the provided hop-up adjustment tool and rotate according to your needs.
