The 9mm Pistolet Makarova also known as the Makarov pistol or PM is a Soviet pistol that replaced the TT or Tokarev pistol and the Nagant M1895 revolver right after World War 2 to complement the adoption of the AK rifle as the Makarov and its ammunition was significantly lighter than both its Tokarev and Nagant counterparts.
The KSC Makarov Espionage PM HW GBB Airsoft Pistol is a faithful replica of the standard issue sidearm of the Soviet Union and later many ex-Soviet states and other Communist-backed countries. This KSC PM gas airsoft pistol is a heavyweight version, meaning it uses quality weighted polymers to make it weigh as close to a full metal one without being full metal, other than that, it utilizes the tried and true System 7 gas system, offering a reliable platform for the user.
The operation of the KSC Makarov PM HW GBB Airsoft Pistol is pretty much the same as its real steel counterpart, the decocker / external safety is functional on this airsoft pistol, and so does the single-action and double-action trigger. This PM airsoft pistol uses a heel-type release for the magazine, similar to other older European auto-loading pistols. The gas magazine has a 9 round capacity as well, giving you a slight edge on 1911 users. As an Espionage edition of the Makarov PM, it features a threaded 12mm CCW outer barrel that allows the mounting of a suppressor, aiding you to lurk in the dark as a covert agent, whilst its grip features a more unique Bakelite-like finish for this limited run gun.
