Hypertek, a rising brand from Hong Kong, specialises in innovative MJF 3D printed slides for Hi-Capas, which have been tested and adopted by several champion competitive shooters in the local region. These slides are designed and developed by Team AimClass, a competitive air shooting team from Hong Kong, who have a deep understanding of creating Hi-Capas parts for performance competitions.
The Champion's Choice open-sight hybrid slide is crafted using Multi-Jet Fusion (MJF), a high-quality 3D printing solution. This technology is proving effective for Hi-Capa slides due to its lightweight design, which allows faster slide cycling and improved gas efficiency, while remaining sturdy enough to withstand rapid shots in tense situations. The extremely light hybrid outer barrel features a compensator device that is weighted for flatter shot-to-shot recoil impulse.
The Champion's Choice slide kit comes in an open configuration slide, requiring an optics mount to work best with this slide. It would not be recommended to mount charging handles to prevent damage to the slide, which requires manually racking the slide during reloads. Additionally, the kit includes a 3D printed Blowback Housing unit, specifically designed to work with Hypertek slides. This modified blowback housing prevents the pistol hammer from jamming during slide cycling.
