This is Hexion Tech's Seeker Red Dot Sight. Hexion Tech is an off-shoot company under the Strike Industries umbrella that focuses more on red dot technology R&D. The Seeker RDS us a compact and modular open reflex sight for pistols. What makes this optic modular are three optional shrouds that can be purchased separately. There are three sizes of shrouds available, small, medium, and large.
In total, there are 8 brightness settings which can be easily adjusted with the up and down buttons on the side. To switch reticles, simply hold down either button for about 2 seconds. To manually turn off the optic completely, press both buttons simultaneously.
With an RMR footprint, the Seeker was designed to fit on as many handgun platforms as possible. Featuring 3 reticles and 4 modes you can cycle through, the Seeker has a 3 MOA red dot, a 40 MOA circle, and a 50 MOA cross reticle. The fourth mode allows you to utilize all 3 reticle simultaneously.
It is powered by a single CR2025 battery and can last upwards of 30,000 hours. When two or more reticles are turned on at the same time, the battery life can support up to 5-6000 hours of active runtime. The battery is also loaded from the top to avoid the need for removing the optic just to install a new battery, thus retaining zero.
Additionally, the Seeker has a battery saving function where the reticle will automatically shut off after two hours stationary. It also features a shake-awake function where the sensors will turn the optic back on after detecting deliberate movement.
Overall, the Hexion Tech Seeker is designed to be highly impact resistant and durable. Couple that with a micro-LED, and you have a capable red dot that can keep up with duress.
