The Liberator pistol also known as the FP-45 was a crude and clumsy weapon made by the US Military during World War II to be airdropped to resistance forces in Axis occupied territories, It was also a psychological weapon that targeted the Axis as there was so many of them made and air dropped in different locations that it was impossible for the Axis forces to capture all of it.
The Hartford Liberator 2022 Model Gun is a faithful replica of the single-shot derringer style resistance pistol. The package comes similar to how resistance fighters would receive it, the gun inside a cardboard box with a dummy .45 ACP round and a wooden dowel intended for users to remove the empty cartridge after firing the gun. This model gun functions just like the real one, if you are looking to have a working model of the pistol for the resistance, this model is for you.
