GBLS is a Korean training company that pioneered the DAS (Dynamic Action System) training rifles, the DAS rifle is essentially the most realistic action you could get from an electric-powered platform, as it fully mimics the action of a real M4 / AR15 rifle. DAS mechanically controls the movement of the bolt carrier to achieve the same stroke as a real gun. The way this rifle works may cause some users to scratch their heads, so here is what you should do:
Step 1: Assemble the rifle, the GBLS DAS comes field stripped out of the box, you will have to assemble it back and also be able to admire the sophisticated internals this airsoft rifle has.
Step 2: Attach a battery, this is technically an AEG, you will have to get an 11.1v battery as nothing less or more will do. Do note that the GBLS DAS has an XT60-type connector, you may have to either find an adaptor or a battery with the correct connectors to run this electric airsoft rifle.
Step 3: Pull back on the charging handle. Now this is going to require a bit of strength, to say the least, as the first pull of the charging handle is like using a spring action airsoft gun, depending on what spring was installed, that's how much force you are fighting against, so if you want to run higher velocity with heavier springs, be sure to hit the gym!
Step 4: Insert loaded magazine and play, after the first charging of the rifle, you won't have to use the same force to rack the charging handle unless you pull the trigger on an empty chamber.
Now with that out of the way, you can enjoy the wonders of realistic action and strong felt recoil, to a point you might forget that the airsoft rifle you are running is battery-powered!
