There have been quite a few Airsoft AK-12s on the market now, what makes the G&G GK-12 different is that exterior-wise it is one of closest to the Russian military-adopted version as it has a more traditional fire selector and a 2-round burst option.
Externally, the G&G GK12 features a monolithic top rail, and Picatinny rails on the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions of the handguard. Adjustable rear and front iron sights and a foldable and length adjustable stock are just like the real deal. Other than that, the flash hider hides a 14mm CCW threaded outer barrel allowing you to mount other muzzle devices such as a tracer unit or a suppressor.
Internally is what makes this gun stand out. The gun comes with a programable ETU where you can adjust your burst for 3 or 5 rounds from the stock 2-round burst setting. Other than this, using G&G's proprietary GK12 magazines, the gun will have a last-round cut-off. You will still be able to use magazines from other makes, such as Tokyo Marui or CYMA the gun will still feed but you will not enjoy the last round cut-off function similar to the Tokyo Marui NGRS system.
