The FPR Pit Viper is a high-quality, faithful replica of the famous Pit Viper pistol. FPR is a boutique airsoft manufacturer that puts attention to details to the utmost importance, having their more deluxe airsoft replicas built using processes and materials that are only known to be used by real firearms manufacturers, some replicas like their 870 style shotguns are even made to be better than its real steel counterparts.
This FPR replica may not be made with full steel like the real Pit Viper would, but this is because this version is intended to actually be skirmished. A CNC aluminum slide is lighter compared to a steel one and would cycle faster while not having a quick cooldown effect that is known to plague full steel green gas-powered airsoft guns. This being said, only the Slide and the mid-frame are made of CNC aluminum, while even other metal bits such as the hammer, magazine, slide release, iron sights, outer barrel, and so on are either CNC steel or forged steel. The grip is well made too, utilizing tough polymers, and has really grippy hand stippling. Due to these facts, the FPR Aluminum Pit Viper has probably the snappiest felt recoil compared to any other Pit Viper-style gas airsoft pistol, this recoil is also easily mitigated due to the grippy nature of the grips and as well as having one of the best feeling triggers on the airsoft market, making this gun a real joy to shoot.
Unfortunately, the FPR Pit Viper does not come with any magazines but do not be alarmed as this gun is able to take most Tokyo Marui spec gas magazines.
