Kimber Rapide 1911 Series (by AW Customs)


The Kimber Rapide is not just another 1911. Kimber is known for making top-tier custom 1911s that perform extremely well, with its high stacking tolerances and precise machining for well over a decade now. The Rapide is their take on a modern evolution of a classic platform. This replica of the Kimber Rapide by EMG (Armorer Works) is a high-quality 1:1 Airsoft replica. Featuring a full metal body construction that gives it heft and increased durability. The slide recreates the same lightning cuts and serrations of the Rapide, and is equipped with the same type of fiber optic iron sights for maximum usability. EMG has taken the liberty to recreate the markings on both the slide and frame, giving it a very clean and sleek aesthetic. The pistol is also equipped with the same type of G10 grip panels as its real-steel counterpart, making it very ergonomic. It also comes with the same style of magwell for that fast, intuitive reload. The EMG Kimber Rapide 1911 is powered by green gas and comes with a 16-round single-stack green gas magazine, and is compatible with available Armorer Works/WE 1911 green gas magazines on the market.

Shooting the EMG Kimber Rapide feels impressive, as the heavy-weight full metal construction does not impede its snappy and stout recoil impulse. The trigger feels responsive, with the reset being pronounced. If you are looking for a 1911-style Airsoft pistol that is a little different, the EMG Kimber Rapide is a solid choice!
