In collaboration between CYMA x Barrett Firearms Mfg, licensed by EMG, Barrett brings their AR-10 patterned REC10 to the airsoft community as an AEG rifle, with full trademarks, licensing and roll marks from Barrett. As a replication of its real steel cousin, the REC10 features the same robust receiver design, using nylon fibre materials to mold the receiver, featuring the unique REC10 roll marks on its mag well space and unique individualised serial marks for each rifle. The AEG features an ambidextrous bolt release and fire selector for accessibility for both right- and left-handed shooters, a flared mag well for easier mag insertion, Barrett licensed polymer dust cover, and a texturised surface finish for its pistol grip for better ergonomic control. For its handguard, it utilises an M-LOK rail interface with an 11.5-inch handguard that provides an ample amount of various peripheral accessories for users to customise and personalise to their taste, with a monolithic upper rail to mount the shooter's preferred optic. On its rear, it utilises an EMG 5-position stock that provides ample room for a 7.4v or 11.1v LiPo battery storage space, with Deans (T-Plug) ready connection, with ambidextrous QD sling mounting points found on either side of the stock, along with the stock end plate.
At its core is a Platinum v2.5 Gearbox, Cymas high-performing system that guarantees a reliable platform, with an integrated E-Shooter MOSFET system to provide electrical efficiency, protection to the internal component, and a snappy trigger response, offering the best performing system for this REC10. Cyma provides a high-performing torque motor that further boosts the rifle's performance, allowing rapid firing and quick cycling of the internals under demanding conditions, with a rotary hop-up unit to allow precise adjustments of the BB trajectory and its accuracy. The rifle fires at around 370 fps out of the box, meeting most indoor field conditions, but Cyma also offers an accessible quick-change spring system to meet with various in and outdoor FPS field requirements. Shooters can change between safe, semi and full-auto fire, depending on their needs during skirmishes, making this an adaptable and reliable rifle that can meet the varying needs of the rifleman.
