The E&C x Apex Force MCX Rattler is a fantastic entry-level AEG rifle, perfect for newcomers. This model offers a reliable platform without costing a fortune, along with its small form factor that reduces the overall weight you might see with other standard AEG rifles, along with a very ergonomic profile that allows for easy manipulation of the rifle in enclosed environments. Based on the third generation line of the MCX rifle, dubbed the "Spear LT", it's been further enhanced by US SOCOM demands for a concealable, low profile PDW form factor with a rifle calibre fire power, hence the birth of the Reduced Signature Assault Rifle, colloquially known as the RSAR. As such, E&C's replicates the 5.6" rifle in this compact package, the signature compact RSAR handguard allows to easier manipulation around rooms, while still retaining ample M-LOK slots to provide shooters customisability options to mount furniture and peripheral accessories to suit their needs. The Rattler features ambidextrous fire controls, a foldable minimalist stock, and a compact free-floating handguard with M-LOK for accessory attachment. Its monolithic Picatinny rail upper allows for additional optics and accessories. The 5.6" outer barrel features a TaperLok flash hider that allows for the mounting of the TaperLok compatible suppressors, or can be removed to reveal a 14mm CCW threading for adding muzzle devices or tracer units. At its heart, it boasts a V2 8mm gearbox powered by a compact Tamiya Li-Po battery nestled in the handguard. You might want to consider using a nunchuck battery or a PEQ box battery, or you could tweak the front piece of the bolt in the handguard for extra battery space. It fires at 380fps or 1.34 joules and is compatible with standard AR15/M4 AEG magazines.
