Description

E&C's latest innovation, the E-Bolt System (EBS), significantly enhances the conventional experience of standard AEGs. This system introduces a physical short-stroked bolt above the electric drivetrain, simulating authentic recoil when firing the rifle. Users will notice the bolt cycling and experience a tangible kick with each trigger pull, making the rifle feel more dynamic while retaining the advantages of an electric gun. The EBS is compatible with AEG magazines and can simulate bolt holds when the magazine is empty, a feature previously exclusive to GBBs.

In this version, E&C has partnered with Colt to recreate the URG-I rifle, a hallmark of the US SOCOM's unofficial "Block III" program. This model features the modern and lightweight Mk. 16 M-LOK rail, enabling users to attach their preferred peripherals and furniture accessories. It also includes a monolithic Picatinny rail interface upper for a variety of optics. The rifle is equipped with a 9.5-inch outer barrel with a 14mm CCW thread, allowing for the addition of muzzle devices or tracer units. Colt's trademarks and rollmarks are present on the receiver, licensed from Cybergun, alongside a classic single-sided fire control configuration. At its rear, a six-position AEG buffer tube supports an ergonomic crane stock that accommodates the battery.

As an AEG rifle featuring the EBS system, this model offers users a more immersive experience. They can operate the bolt lock when the magazine is empty and reload without needing modifications to replicate this experience. The visible cycling of the bolt and the accompanying recoil enhance realism. The EBS caters to those seeking the immersive realism of GBBs while benefiting from the performance, prolonged use and reliability of an AEG system. It eliminates the need for gas, which can be costly, providing a dependable power source through AEG li-po batteries while maintaining a large magazine capacity, an area where GBB magazines still face challenges.

Operational Use (Important Read):

  • Engaging the Piston; without any magazine inserted, you must plug the battery in and fire the rifle once in semi to bolt lock the rifle, engaging the piston and bolt. You can either release the bolt and the rifle is ready to play, or insert a magazine before releasing the bolt.
  • Disengaging the Piston; empty the rifle from any magazine and BBs from the channel, set the rifle to semi. Ensure the rifle is bolt locked and hold the trigger for 5 seconds, you would hear a few clicks. Release the bolt and it will disengage the piston pre-cock as well (you will hear the bolt sounding different when disengaged).
  • Do not Rack the Charging Handle; until the bolt has been pre-cocked, do not rack the charging handle of this gun. The charging handle will not function until a battery source has been plugged in. Summarily, do not use the charging handle at all.
  • Adjusting the Hop; the hop adjustment dial is found at the base of your outer barrel, close to the receiver, within the rifle handguard.
  • Clearing out BBs during Jam; if you encounter a jam during operations, the rifle will bolt lock and you will hear an audible buzz. Remove the magazine and shake the rifle to clear any BBs, if you can see a BB mid way up the BB channel, you should be able to clear it by releasing the bolt, the BB would be pushed downwards.
  • Magazine Compatibility; as of this moment we understand that hi-cap magazines work fine with this rifle, or any AEG magazine feedlip and rear to measure a total of 25mm. In addition, any feedlip thats smaller than 25mm it may rock the magazine back and forth, which may cause the magazine cut-off sensor to think the magazine has been dislodged or is out of BBs.
  • Hi-Cap Magazine Feeding Consistency; It is essential to ensure that the spring tension of the hi-cap feeding spring is maximised to guarantee a consistent feed of BBs into the rifle. Insufficient spring tension may lead to an increased likelihood of bolt locks. To mitigate this issue, consider swapping for a fresh magazine.
  • Mid-Cap Magazine Feeding Consistency; When utilising mid-cap magazines, there is a possibility that the magazine spring tension may not be sufficient to feed BBs effectively after a significant number have been used. This can also result in a higher chance of bolt locks. To prevent this, it is advisable to replace the magazine with a new one.
  • Unable to Feed BBs into the Channel; if you load a magazine and the BBs aren't being fed into the channel, try removing the magazine, releasing the bolt, loading the magazine and re-rack the bolt should fix this issue.
