The AKS74 was adopted by the Soviet Military in 1974 which is still in limited service in the Russian Armed Forces today. It was developed as a response to the American M16/AR-15 rifles which fired 5.56 NATO intermediate cartridge, which the AK74 was designed to fire the 5.45x39mm intermediate cartridge and had great success in the 1979 Soviet-Afghan Wars, this cartridge is still being used today in the updated AK 100 series as well as the AK-12. This CYMA AK74 is a faithful replica of the Soviet service rifle, featuring the exact same external design of the service rifle. The gun comes with a 500 round High Capacity Magazine as well as a front sight adjustment tool.
