Description

Mauser was a German arms manufacturer of a line of bolt-action rifles and pistols from the 1870s to 1995. Mauser designs were built for the German armed forces.

The famous 98k, as know as model 98, a semi- and fully automatic rifles during World War II, it remained the primary German service rifle until the end of World War II in 1945.

Although not extensively tested at range, a quick test revealed pretty remarkable accuracy for a classic weapon. At around 15m the rifle was landing 15-20mm groupings with 0.2g BBs; it is able to shoot up to 40m-50m with stock hop up bucking! As a vintage weapon it might not be the most desirable skirmish rifle platform but at least it is nice to know that your cool rifle can indeed shoot worth a damn as well.

The high metal content with the realistic vintage finishing, incredibly smooth action and high quality real wood body all come together to make this a stunning display piece (that just happens to also shoot pretty well too).

As a Tanaka weapon, we do point out that it really should only be run on HFC/duster gas as strictly speaking it was not built to handle greater pressure then that. Although it can handle Green and Red gas, there is no guarantee that the internals will hold up to those pressures without sustaining damage.
