The B&T APC9 or the Advanced Police Carbine is a PDW submachine gun produced and manufactured by Brugger & Thomet of Switzerland. Announced in 2011, the standard series uses 9x19mm (APC9), while other, more specialized variants like the APC10 and APC45 use 10mm Auto and .45 ACP, respectively. On March 29, 2019, B&T was awarded a contract with the U.S. Army's Sub Compact Weapon Production-Other Transaction Agreement (P-OTA) competition for its APC9 and APC9K submachine gun, with the APC9K being the more compact version of the original design, with K meaning Kurtz or "Short" in German. The APC9 SD is a more specialized version of the standard platform, which features an integrated suppressor and enlarged handguard to accommodate said suppressor.
The ARCHWICK B&T Licensed APC9 SD Compact GBB is engineered for Airsofters who require a compact, maneuverable submachine gun platform for close-quarters engagements and urban simulations. By faithfully replicating the internal mechanics and external dimensions of the B&T APC9 SD, this gas blowback replica offers a high-fidelity experience that balances realistic recoil impulse with the precision required for fast-paced tactical environments.
With a focus on manufacturing tight tolerances, the ARCHWICK APC9-K series integrates seamlessly into existing loadouts, providing a robust, all-metal construction capable of enduring rigorous field use. The integrated suppressor design allows for a sleek, shortened profile without sacrificing handling dynamics. Other than being a complete 1:1 spec of the real deal, this Airsoft GBB SMG is made out of top-tier quality materials. The upper receiver assembly, handguard, and suppressor are CNC-machined using aluminum, while internal parts like the fire control group assembly are made out of steel, making this a highly robust yet lightweight replica weapons platform. The controls are fairly simple and are all ambidextrous. If you've ever used an AR-15-style weapon platform, you will find the fire controls to be easy to get acquainted with. (Sorry AK users)
Finally, the included 30-round proprietary green gas magazine has a nice rubber shock base pad that is able to take some of the impact if you were to drop the magazine for a tactical reload. Also, this Airsoft gun is dual-powered and is fully capable of taking CO2 versions of the same magazines.
Technical Specifications:
For players operating within dense, tactical layouts or those building a high-end B&T-themed kit, this replica provides the necessary weight and mechanical response that polymer-based platforms lack. The choice of Green Gas or CO2 versatility ensures functionality across varying climate conditions, while the adjustable hop-up allows the operator to maintain precision consistency with different BB weights. If you require a sidearm-sized primary that delivers reliable gas-driven performance and authentic B&T ergonomics, the ARCHWICK APC9 SD stands as a pragmatic selection for your tactical arsenal.
