Specifically engineered as a drop-in upgrade for a standard M4A1 lower, converting any standard Mil-Spec AR rifle into a next-generation MCX. Utilizing SIG's advanced suppressor design, the MCX-SURG has been tested under Special Operations' harshest and most demanding conditions, and has been proven to exceed even the most extreme durability, accuracy, and sound reduction standards.
The unique heat shield design of the MCX-SURG kit is meant to prevent burns while still allowing the operator to maintain high-rates of constant fire.
The APFG SURG-Style upper receiver upgrade kit is designed to be used with VFC AR/M4 lowers, much like the real kit. It is a high-quality 1:1 replica in its design and even the way it interfaces with a VFC GBB M4/AR lower. The APFG SURG kit is a full assembly that includes all essential and vital components, allowing for a direct drop-in installation. CNC machined using 6061 Aluminum alloy, and topped off with an FDE anodized finish, the kit is built to be durable and robust. Just like APFG's standard GBB MCX line, the hop-up is adjustable via the gas block. making it easy to tune your hop and dial in accuracy on the fly.
Installation is simple, as the kit comes with the SURG stock adapter. Simply replace the buffer tube assembly with the adapter, and you can pretty much slap on the upper. However, ensuring proper fitment and installation may require you to do some DIY form fitting, as VFC AR GBB lowers have varying levels of tolerances depending on the batch and year manufactured.
The kit comes with the 5.56SURG mock suppressor and attaches directly to the outer barrel via 14mm CCW threads. The kit also includes an MCX telescopic side-folding stock.
