The Alien Gear Rapid Force Level II Duty Holster is an evolution of the larger Level III Duty holster, designed as an outside-the-waistband (OWB) option that excels in both unmarked and off-duty scenarios. It caters to the needs of civilians, detectives, executive protection personnel, and officers, whether on or off duty. This Level II duty holster offers a sleek, slimline, and durable alternative, avoiding the need to modify a Level III holster into a Level II system, while still incorporating the renowned Alien Gear Thumb Sweep draw system.

With a level II ejection port latch system, it provides a dependable mechanism akin to that of the Level III holster, featuring the signature active locking mechanisms that grab onto your pistols ejection port while facilitating efficient drawing under pressure. Shooters can easily unlock and draw their pistols by swiping the paddle release system, allowing for a swift and smooth draw, as shown in the video below.
Each Rapid Force holster is made to order and constructed from durable high-impact polymer. It gained attention in the community after a well-known guntuber compared its rigidity to that of a high-profile competitor, demonstrating its ability to withstand up to 500 lbs of pressure. This holster is designed to endure rigorous use in various environments, withstanding temperatures ranging from -40 Fahrenheit / Celsius to 350 Fahrenheit (176 Celsius). Tailored for the modern shooter, this version is specifically designed for the Glock platform, accommodating most optic systems and featuring a clearance suitable for optics-height iron sights. The signature active thumb swipe retention system from the Rapid Force Level III is retained, gripping the Glock's ejection port, allowing for holstering with or without light systems installed, thanks to its enlarged light chamber (see below for compatibility list).
To prevent accidental discharges, Rapid Force holsters feature a reduced trigger gap that limits access to the pistol's trigger, ensuring the highest level of safety for the owner. As a Level II holster, it offers familiarity to users of the Rapid Force Level III, simplifying the design by removing the level 3 system, thumb guard, and optic shrouds for a cleaner, slimmer profile, while maintaining a consistent draw stroke for those accustomed to its larger counterpart, and providing an easy, intuitive draw for new users.
