By replacing the bulky factory quad-rail, this 10.5-inch variant significantly reduces the front-end profile of your VFC, WE, or PTW 416, allowing for better ergonomics and weight distribution during sustained engagements.
CNC-machined using high-grade 6061 Aluminum and topped off with a durable anodized finish, the SMR handguard is built to be extremely tough and rigid in order to secure the free-floating barrel for maximum accuracy and overall durability. The SMR uses a proprietary rail mounting interface that is specific to the SMR series of handguards. As such, the handguard comes with a full set of accessories to allow you to configure and set up right off the bat. Included is a 1913/20mm Picatinny Rail Panel, Arisaka-Style Surefire Scout Light offset mount, and Arisaka-Style SMR Low-Profile Handstop. It is a simple drop-in installation on most factory barrel nuts that come with the gun, but Airsoft Artisan also includes a compatible barrel nut with the SMR handguard. Please note that it may require some minor DIY modification to ensure proper fitment, depending on the brand and model of the rifle.
