ACETECH Auramist
ACETECH has been leading the industry when it comes to the tracer unit segment with its unique design and innovative technology. ACETECH, for the past couple of years, has been steadily releasing tracer units that feature not just tracer capabilities, but also simulated flash with a whole variety of colours, and is able to keep up with super-fast RPM setups like the ACETECH Blaster and Bifrost modules. Now, ACETECH has made a new, highly innovative system that not just incorporates tracer and simulated flash capabilities, but also simulated muzzle smoke, with a twist!
Introducing the ACETECH Auramist-Smoky Tracer Unit! Now, what makes the ACETECH Auramist different from the already existing smoke-simulated tracer units by other brands? Well, standard smoke tracer units utilize vapor oil that is commonly used with practical effect smoke machines like those that you would see on a concert stage. The smoke volume from an oil-based smoke tracer unit is impressive and looks really cool, sure, but oil-based tracer units are sometimes expensive to refill and can be extremely cumbersome to clean as the oil vapor leaves a sticky residue every time you use it, which will affect the performance of your hop-up system and can potentially destroy inner barrel assemblies if not cleaned and maintained regularly. Perhaps for some of you, the price of getting oil refills, maintenance, and clean up is well worth the cool factor. That's where the Auramist comes into play!
The ACETECH Auramist features the standard tracer unit/simulated flash function, as well as a simulated muzzle smoke system that utilizes water instead of oil! It essentially vaporizes the water to create the smoke! This makes it basically free to refill and is absolutely safe to use. Another added benefit is that it makes zero mess; it does not get sticky like the oil vapor versions, as the stickiness collects and builds up dust in your inner barrel/chamber. The Auramist also utilizes an auto-dry function, where it will automatically dry the unit and chamber after usage. To refill the Auramist, simply use the provided liquid dropper to store water and insert the tip into the inlet, which is located at the front of the tracer. This makes it extremely simple and fast to top off, whereas other brands would require the core module to be removed from the shell to access the inlet cover on the side.
Now, ACETECH has stated that the performance of the smoke can be enhanced by diluting one or two drops of vapor oil (do not put more than two drops as it may damage the vaporizer) into the reservoir. This gives the smoke more volume, and the effect is similar to that of traditional oil-based tracer units. The Auramist also features a modular design, where the tracer module core can be taken out and fitted on other mock suppressors with a diameter of 37.6mm; however, the module can be shimmed to fit wider diameter mock suppressor shells if needed. The tracer module can support up to 35 RPS as well as standard BBs, green tracer BBs, and red tracer BBs. The Auramist utilizes a USB-C charging port to charge and is equipped with a Li-Ion built-in battery.
The ACETECH Auramist has six modes to choose from: tracer only / flash only / mist only / tracer + flash / tracer + mist / flash + mist / tracer + flash + mist.
