The 5KU Sports 4, equipped with the B33 Tactical Handguard Kit, serves as a modular modernisation solution for the Tokyo Marui AKM GBB rifle by replacing the handguard, outer barrel, and dust cover. Adhering to the Zentico design aesthetic, this kit enhances the classic AKM, allowing for personalisation with optics and peripheral accessories.The Sports 4 employs the Zenitco Basis Rail Interface System, which is Zenitcos response to the western M-LOK rail interface, offering a similar mounting solution that minimises additional weight while still providing modular mounting options for the user. This low-profile handguard is designed for comfort, featuring no surrounding Picatinny rails as seen in previous Zenitco models, and incorporates lightening cuts to further reduce overall weight while maintaining the Zenitco aesthetic. It also allows for the installation of Basis B-2 rail sections for peripheral devices. Additionally, the handguard includes a low-profile Picatinny mounting option on its top surface for optics and other accessories. The kit includes a CNC-machined outer barrel that complements the handguard, featuring a 14mm CCW threading for mounting muzzle devices or tracer units. Furthermore, the kit provides the B33 dust cover, which replaces the AKMs original dust cover, mounting directly onto the AKMs dust cover position and the Sports 4 handguard, allowing the B33 to hinge open in the future while providing the option to mount optics and peripheral devices on the Picatinny rail interface.
