The EX 01 Frame Kit from 5KU serves as frame kit replacement for the Tokyo Marui Hi Capa GBB pistol series. The design of the EX01 is inspired by the EVA Units from the renowned mecha anime, Neon Genesis Evangelion, reflecting the mechanical elegance of these units through its futuristic and angular slide design. Drawing from EVA Units, the EX01 embodies a sharp, biomechanical aesthetic, featuring sleek armor plating with intricate detailing that conveys an industrial, high-performance appearance. This frame kit is characterised by a striking red slide paired with a gold outer barrel, thereby enhancing its connection to the anime inspiration.
Constructed from precision-machined aluminum, the EX 01 slide kit ensures robust yet lightweight handling, incorporating the prominent cut-out designs to further reduce the slides weight. The slide is equipped with a compensator that seamlessly connects to the included outer barrel, minimising weight and facilitating a faster slide cycle. The mid-frame mirrors this angular design and features similar lightweight cut-outs, along with optic screw points for an optics adapter, as the slide does not include iron sights. Additionally, the slide kit comes with a charging handle, recoil rod and plug, as well as a hammer housing set; some technical expertise may be necessary for installation.
