The SMR Mk. 8 Tactical Rail from 5KU is a super modular rail handguard developed to work with AEGs or GBB (Tokyo Marui MWS or Western Arms) platforms, being one of the first handguards to utilise the M-LOK rail interface. The handguard is designed with CNC aluminium, the handguard provides a lightweight, robust and rigid platform while able to provide modularity option for the shooter, making this an ultra light weight handguard that allows users to install their own peripheral devices onto the handguard. Constructed from CNC aluminium, this handguard offers a lightweight, durable, and rigid platform, allowing shooters to customise their setup with various peripheral devices. The design features M-LOK cutouts that significantly reduce the overall weight while enabling the attachment of accessories at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, as well as the upper 45-degree quadrant. The upper 12 o'clock section includes a Picatinny rail interface, ensuring uniformity with the rifle receiver for a monolithic upper. The package includes the SMR barrel nut for easy installation on AEG, Marui MWS GBB, or Western Arms GBB rifles, enhancing surface contact for a truly free-floating rail that improves accuracy and maintains zero, even after disassembly and reassembly.
