5KU replicates the SAG Mk. 3 Monolithic Rail Set, a great selection for your Cyma AKM or AK105 AEGs with this modernised solution for your AK platform. Replicating the real steel Slim Chassis variant which can only be purchased from SAG Russia, this unobtanium piece was a rare find, given its slimmer handguard profile compared to the standard SAG Mk. 3 that was available from SAG US, it was hard to obtain due to the high demand at its initial launch.
The design of SAG chassis was to replace the handguard, gas tube and dust cover with a lighter furniture design, saving a 100 grams in overall weight of the AK. Once replaced, the chassis free floats inside the tubular handguard, with options to mount optics and peripherals on its monolithic rail, as it extends from the gas tube and the dust cover, which allows the mounting of optics closer to the eye. The SAG Mk. 3 chassis modernises the AK platform with the ability to install optics and peripherals that are interface with the Picatinny and M-Lok rail systems.
